Where you land in the range: wall condition does the most work. Clean walls in a newer home sit near the bottom. Heavy patching, dark colors needing a third coat, or tall ceilings push toward the top. We tell you which applies at the walkthrough, not after.
Exterior painting.
Florida stucco takes a beating: sun, rain, and hairline cracks that have to be sealed before paint. Done right (pressure wash, patch, seal, two coats), Orlando exteriors run $3–$5 per square foot of home.

Two-story homes run about 15% more. Ladder and lift work is slower. Chalky, badly weathered stucco needs a masonry primer coat that adds cost but is the difference between a five-year finish and a ten-year one. A cheap bid that skips it isn't cheaper for long.
Cabinet painting.
A sprayed, factory-style finish on the cabinets you already have. The kitchen-remodel look at a fraction of replacement cost, priced per piece: $100–$175 per door, $50–$90 per drawer front.

Why the per-door spread: flat panels spray fast; raised panels, glass fronts, and detailed trim take longer to prep and mask. Doors come off and get sprayed under dust containment. Your kitchen stays usable, and the overspray stays with us.

Are these prices exact?

Why do painters charge such different prices?
Mostly prep and coats. A low bid usually means skipped prep, one coat, or thinned paint. It looks fine for a year, then fails. Our quotes itemize the prep so you can compare bids on the same work.

What makes a job cost more than the range?
